California Brain and Spine Center is truly next level, and Dr. Alireza is unlike anyone I have ever worked with.

He is not just a chiropractor. He is not just a neurologist. He is a magician of both. What makes his work so unique is the way he takes his background in electrical engineering and applies it to the way the body functions through electrical units, electrical systems, and neurological communication. He understands that the body has a frequency, and that when there is distortion within that system, it can impact how we think, feel, move, heal, and experience life.

His level of analysis, preparation, diagnosis, and application is high art. It is detailed, intentional, and incredibly advanced. Whether you are dealing with brain fog, dizziness, headaches, eye strain, irritability, or simply feel like something is off and no one has been able to figure it out, this is the place to go.

It’s hard to describe the impact California Brain and Spine Center has had in my life. After two years of searching for answers to help my concussion/TBI, I was referred to Dr. Chizari and I am SO glad I showed up for that free consult. He was the first doctor to listen to every single symptom, have empathy, do actual testing to see what was wrong and present solutions to each symptom. He is professional, understanding, has personal experience with family members suffering from brain injuries, incredibly smart, and dedicated to helping you feel better. There is no ego – he is simply working to help make a difference in each patient’s life. Gilda, the office manager, is compassionate and caring, quick to respond, and a bright spot in my day when I have appointments!

When I did the initial round of testing, I was suffering from daily headaches, numbness in my face, sound sensitivity, depression and anxiety, brain fog, and an overall sense of hopelessness. After 24 appointments and at home exercises, 90% of my symptoms are completely gone. It made a huge difference.

I came to California Brain and Spine Center in very poor condition after my accident. I was suffering from vertigo, migraines, and pain in my arms, neck, and spine. After several treatment sessions with Dr. Chizhari, I truly started feeling much better and noticed real positive improvement in my condition. I’m a 34-year-old woman and for the longest time, I couldn’t figure out what was happening to my body. I was constantly dizzy, my heart would race out of nowhere, and even simple things like standing in line or taking a shower would leave me feeling exhausted and shaky. I later found out I had POTS, but even after the diagnosis, I still felt lost.

I had seen a few doctors before coming here, and while some were helpful, I often felt like my symptoms were brushed off or just managed instead of really understood. By the time I found California Brain & Spine Center, I was honestly frustrated and starting to feel like this was just my “new normal.”

I came to California Brain & Spine Center after exhausting every option with other medical professionals and still finding no answers. I had been diagnosed with PPPD and VBD and had been suffering for nearly five years—three of those years were absolutely unbearable. My condition forced me to stop working and go on disability. I couldn’t tolerate looking at a computer screen, much less drive. I lived in a constant state of disorientation, brain fog, and overwhelming anxiety. My blood pressure was high, and I made countless trips to the ER.
Even something as simple as sleep became a nightmare. I would go to bed dizzy and wake up dizzy. Medications didn’t help at all. I felt hopeless and desperate to get my life back, but no one could tell me what was truly going on.

Everything changed when I found Dr. Chizari.

From the very first visit, he gave me something I hadn’t felt in years—hope. Through his unique methods and data-driven approach, he was able to understand what was happening with my brain in a way no one else had. I can’t believe I finally found a place that truly cares this much about their patients. This place is such an incredible experience — the team is kind, and genuinely invested in helping you heal.

If you’re dealing with POTS, VERTIGO, Long Covid, or similar issues, I highly recommend coming here. It’s rare to find a place that combines real care with real results.

For anyone trying to find it: it’s on Park Granada — the last driveway on the right before you get to Park Sorrento. I included photos to make it easier for others to locate.

So grateful I found this place. Highly, highly recommend!

Dr. Ali is incredible. I came to his functional neurology clinic after a car accident, struggling with significant fatigue and an inability to focus. Not only did his protocol help resolve those immediate symptoms, but it also addressed lingering effects from past sports concussions and even challenges related to ADHD and dyslexia that had been impacting me in ways I didn’t fully recognize until they improved.

As a sports psychologist, I was especially impressed by how comprehensive his approach is. I learned how effective his work can be for athletes recovering from concussions, as well as for enhancing auditory and visual reaction time and overall brain processing.

I truly believe many people could benefit from his process — whether you’re recovering from a concussion and not “autocorrecting” the way you should, or you’re looking to gain a competitive edge by training your brain. Dr. Ali’s work goes far beyond symptom relief; it optimizes how your brain functions.

I first came to California Brain & Spine Center after experiencing ongoing headaches, balance issues, and anxiety following a car accident. Dr Chizari not only provided excellent medical care but took the time to listen and showed genuine compassion throughout my 3 months of treatment. He is patient and kind and showed concern for how I was feeling at each appointment while creating a treatment plan to help me. The treatments and exercises he worked with me on, including sessions with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) have greatly improved not only my original symptoms, but my brain fog is clearer and I've been sleeping much better as well. I’ve been provided with the tools I need going forward at home to control anxiety when it arises and keep my brain healthy. Dr Chizari sincerely wants the best for his patients and I’m very thankful for the care I received. Do not hesitate to contact him, I’m sure you’ll be grateful you did.

Dr. Chizari helped me SOOOOOOOO MUCH. When I came in for initial testing in December after a car accident 2.5+ years ago I was still having a hard time recovering from though I'd been in countless treatments (I think 17+ practitioners at that point), he gave me a thorough interview before testing to discuss my symptoms and what treatments I'd been doing. In the tests, I failed- off the charts badly- 9/12 vestibular system checks. I only had healthy balance in 1/12. I had many vision issues and my nervous system was highly activated within the left side of my body (factors like dilation of the left eye vs right and others told, and I'd been hit on left side mainly of back of my head). He is so attentive and gave me almost more at home exercises than I could handle but I did them diligently and by the time I left I improved all of the things we tested exponentially based off my final testing! I can read and focus again, and do mental math I couldn't and cried trying to do a very basic question in the first test (emotional post concussion issues are improved too). I have more energy, my executive functioning came back, I'm taking care of my life and finances in a way I didn't have the capacity too at all before the treatments with him, and kicking butt frankly it feels like compared to before the treatments with him! I was afraid to do hyperbaric chamber but in the end I know it helped greatly. I highly recommend Dr. Chizari and California Brain & Spine whole heartedly!! You will be so happy with your results-- people in my community can see visibly how much better I am just in conversations etc-- and do your homework :)!!

The kindest doctor with a gift for healing. His approach is data driven. My initial visit was a thorough 2-3 hours where I was hooked up to sensors to confirm what was happening in my nervous system. I was pleased to see the data afterwards and compare it to regular, healthy baseline patients, which showed the areas I needed help in. His approach in physical therapy is unique to each person's needs. A very inspiring individual that is committed to helping patients feel their best selves again. I feel in control again.
